Energy - Technology and Management

Are you planning a semester abroad? Are you excited by all things concerning energy, energy systems, sustainability and optimisation? At AAMS we offer a one-semester elective course taught exclusively in English for both Danish and international students. The course is called “Energy – Technology and Management”. In this course, Danish and international students work and study together on subjects related to both conventional and “green” energy supply.

 

About the course

The course is 30 ECTS and consists of two parts, each part is 15 ECTS.
You must take all of the subjects offered i.e. all 30 ECTS credits.
It is offered each semester – spring and autumn.

 

Course structure

Part 1:

  • Language and Culture (5 ECTS)
  • Bioenergy (4 ECTS)
  • Energy efficiency (2 ECTS)
  • Combined heat and power (2 ECTS)
  • Power to X (2 ECTS)

Part 2:

  • Optimization of an energy system (5 ECTS)
  • Solar Power (2 ECTS)
  • Wind Power (2 ECTS)
  • District heating (2 ECTS)
  • Oil & gas production (4 ECTS)

 

Language of instruction

English – at least B2

 

Prerequisites

At least one year of university studies in the natural sciences, engineering, management or economics.
