Research and Development at Aarhus School of Marine and Technical Engineering
Aarhus School of Marine and Technical Engineering (AAMS) has many years of experience with application-oriented research and development, where collaboration between companies, education, and students generates new knowledge that benefits businesses, education, and society alike.
AAMS is located at NAVITAS alongside the engineering programmes of Aarhus University and INCUBA A/S, forming a hub for education, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
Through applied research and development, AAMS aims—together with students—to support companies in working with the UN Sustainable Development Goals within the context of operations and maintenance.
Examples of completed projects:
Investigation of flue gas condensation in systems below 1 MW and CO₂ cooling systems in the maritime industry.
Collaboration with sectoral knowledge institutions, such as Fredericia School of Marine and Technical Engineering, on energy conversion and storage.
